Recovery and Worship (RAW)

Where Recovery Meets the Word of God

The place where you have full permission to come as you are.

Shake up the ground of all my tradition
Break down the walls of all my religion
Your way is better
Your way is better
— Make Room, Elyssa Smith

In this non-traditional healing and deliverance service, you will experience powerful worship, a brief word, intercessory prayer, and testimonies specifically surrounding the topic of recovery.

We believe that as followers of Christ we are all recovering as we move from the old self to the new self in Christ Jesus.

SELAH WORSHIP

The 3pm service is a Recovery and Worship. It is an intentional space for God’s people to rest in His presence, to reflect on who He is, on where they are, and where He is taking them.

The worship is intended to be meditative and restful.

It is a place where God’s children can reflect, and be moved to peace, and hear His voice. In such a fast paced world, this is the place where His people can SELAH, to meditate on the Word of God.

Selah: “to pause and praise.”

This is a non-traditional form of worship that is meant to challenege God’s people to personally engage with the Person of Jesus Christ and the Present of the Most High God.

While it may feel uncomfortable at first, it is intended to give God’s children the space, time, and permission to grieve. Our Worship Leaders partner with the Holy Spirit to set this atmosphere.

In this space, we believe God’s children will be delivered from the need to “do more” in their relationship with God and in their personal lives.

There is full permission in this atmosphere to rest in the presence of God, an atmosphere of healing and deliverance.

Our Core Verse:

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3
